Description

Presentation: “Sanbiagio “ is intended to be a tribute to the Umbrian town where the company is based and its splendid territory. Purple in color, slightly herbaceous fruity, spicy and vanilla, full and velvety. Captivating. Fruity, soft, spicy, full flavored. Elegant. The Company: The Cenci family has been involved in viticulture for over four generations, continuing the work of cultivating vines while respecting the characteristics of tradition and the typicality of the territory that belonged to the Olivetan friars. In the early 1950s, Mario, an enlightened and innovative agricultural expert and Giovanni's grandfather, selected the Grechetto, Sangiovese and Malvasia clones from the vines married to the mulberry trees cultivated by the Olivetans, and planted the company's first vineyards. In 2012, after two years of renovation of the company farmhouse under the guidance of Mario Cenci, the new cellar was inaugurated under the guidance of Giovanni Cenci, a winemaker, oenologist, food biotechnologist and sommelier.
