Description

Description : wine with a sunny and welcoming character; the aromas are warm, of ripe, almost dehydrated fruit and refined; in the mouth the acid notes are accompanied by sweeter hints of yellow flowers and tropical fruits. The Company : Collecapretta is first and foremost a mixed agricultural company with livestock (Azienda Agricola Mattioli Vittorio) that has lived and produced for three generations on the same lands protected by the Martani Mountains in the Spoleto countryside. The management method is natural, with the utmost respect for natural cycles and excluding the use of herbicides, pesticides and weed killers. The vineyards are traditional to the area - we are in the homeland of Trebbiano spoletino but here we also find grechetto, ciliegiolo and sangiovese above all - with some extra-regional contributions that however respect what happened after the Second World War with the planting throughout the region of vines such as barbera or merlot. The company extends over about 50 hectares of which only 6 are vineyards.
