Description

Presentation: Medium-bodied, fruity, fresh, fragrant and mineral wine obtained from one of the most widespread vines in Umbria. Grechetto is in fact a white grape variety so called for its Greek origins dating back to the colonization that led to the creation of Magna Graecia in our country in the 7th century BC. Leonardo Bussoletti cultivates two types: the Orvieto one, less structured on the nose and explosive in the mouth, and the Todi one with opposite characteristics. The producer vinifies them separately and then lets them rest 8/10 months on the lees and then proceeds with their final assembly. The company: Leonardo Bussoletti is a company located in Narni in the province of Terni, in an area particularly suited to viticulture. The vineyard consists of 7 hectares of organic vineyards, mainly composed of cherry and then Grechetto and Trebbiano. The story of Leonardo Bussoletti is that of a man capable of transforming his dream into reality: after spending the first years of his life as a wine seller he decided to become a producer. In Italy and around the world there are many examples of this path but in Leonardo's case his was a choice linked to Ciliegiolo and its territory. The company that follows the principles of organic prefers spontaneous fermentations and without selected yeasts but with the pied de cuve system or with the use of its own grapes.
