Presentation: wine with fruity notes that recall cherry and wild strawberry, with hints of aromatic herbs on the finish. Deep and broad taste, harmoniously balanced by good freshness, minerality and flavor. A "lady in pink" in which the Tabarrini family has put all their love to give a new version of Sagrantino to all lovers of this grape variety.
The company: The Tabarrini family has lovingly cultivated its vineyards and produced wine in Montefalco, in the Turrita area, for four generations. Only at the end of the 90s, however, thanks to the intuition and enthusiasm of Giampaolo Tabarrini, did the company change pace, deciding to bottle the wines and putting to good use the experience of years of work. Shortly thereafter, the new winery was also born, which, immersed in hills and vineyards, gives life to a suggestive and typically Umbrian landscape where man and nature go hand in hand. But it is from the love for the land that great wines are born. Of the twenty-two hectares of the estate, eleven are planted with vineyards. Here, Sagrantino, which finds its very raison d'être in Montefalco, has a central, irreplaceable and fascinating role. The Tabarrinis treat it with respect and pride, like the other grapes owned, which are then the only ones to be transformed into wine. From the bunch to the bottle. This is the true philosophy of a family that personally follows, with scrupulousness and passion, every little step of its creatures.
