Presentation: natural wine with a straw yellow color, obtained with an 8-day maceration on the skins and aging in demijohn. The company: Conestabile della Staffa is a company that has been producing wine since the mid-1800s on the outskirts of Montemelino in Umbria near Lake Trasimeno . The microclimate of the place is in fact affected by the influence of the lake. The first vintage under the direction of the oenologist Danilo Marcucci dates back to 2015. The company's vineyards are located at 250-300 meters above sea level mainly on clay soils with a calcareous bottom, where they grow: Sangiovese, Colorino, Sagrantino, Gamay del Trasimeno, Canaiolo, Trebbiano Dorato, Grechetto and Malvasia . The management of the plants and the land is aimed at the total rejection of synthetic products. Spontaneous fermentations and in the cellar no type of technology or intervention, where the wines do not undergo invasive filtration.
